World’s top professionals head for Spain | Barcelona a melting pot for innovative ideas


International experts will converge on Barcelona in June to study new and innovative ways to find out if communications programmes are delivering value for money in the middle of huge change in the way the media works.


The Global Summit on Measurement is the biggest event of its kind in the world and is designed for communications and public relations professionals to share the latest thinking about measurement and evaluation of communications and public relations practice.


Organised by AMEC, the International Association for Measurement and Evaluation of Communication, the Summit will be held in Barcelona on 12-14 June, 2018.


Richard Bagnall, Chairman of AMEC, said communications professionals faced major challenges, including being able to identify real news from fake news and the implications of data privacy following the Facebook Cambridge Analytica revelations?


He said: “What makes the Global Summit unmissable is that there has never been a more challenging time for people in communications to measure the effectiveness of their work. Volumes of content have exploded but understanding what it all means has never been harder.”
